Piermont Apple Festival tomorrow
We are looking forward to the Blauvelt Lions Club Annual Apple Festival held in Piermont. It will be held on Sunday, September 25, from 10am until 5pm. Rain date is October 3rd.
This is a lovely family event, there will be apple pastries, crafts, jewelry tables, pony rides (love the pony rides!), hot dogs and hamburgers, and more.
Admission is free. The location is Flywheel Park on Ash Street in Piermont, New York. You can always take your family out to lunch or dinner afterwards at any one of the very good restaurants right there. Or you can take a hike on foot out to the end of the Piermont Pier and see what the fishermen are catching that day. There is also a nice playground at the foot of the pier behind the picnic pavillion and baseball field.
